Pezula Field of Dreams and Pezula Barnyard are both situated in Phase 3 of Pezula Private Estate and offer activities and facilities for Country Club Members and guests of Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa.
The Field of Dreams lies in a clearing amidst the ancient forests of the Pezula Estate, surrounded by indigenous trees and valleys carpeted with fynbos. The realisation of a dream to create a world class multi-sport venue, it boasts an international cricket oval, a field for soccer, hockey or soft ball, four tennis courts and a 300m golf driving range with target greens, a bunker and chipping area. The surrounding forest and mountainside create a natural amphitheatre around the field and the valley extends from the foot of the driving range. It's a sports stadium without seats or concrete; spectators sit on grass embankments, whether they're watching the game on the cricket oval or the action of the four tennis courts.
Facilities are also provided for archery, pétanque and Ultimate Frisbee.
For the kids there are sport-based obstacle courses and games teaching hand-eye coordination and ball skills.
From the Barnyard & Stables, residents can explore the estate's mysterious forests on Pezula's magnificent Cape Riding Horses, hike or cycle along nature trails or canoe along the pristine Noetzie River while looking out for the many soft skin animals or more than 130 species of birds on the estate.
The animal touch-farm at the Barnyard is a kid's dream with a whole variety of furry friends to play with.
