Pezula, South Africa's leading developer of luxury property has once again achieved international recognition by winning five of the top awards at the prestigious Homes Overseas Awards 2007, including the top overall award for International Developer of the Year and another four Gold awards for Best Luxury Development, Best House South Africa, Best Spa Development and Best Fractional Ownership Scheme.
The Pezula Group collected the awards at a ceremony held at The Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London yesterday (Tuesday 3 December), which was attended by leading figures in property development, sales and marketing and the international media.
The Homes Overseas Awards, which are sponsored by Barclays and AIPP (Association of International Property Professionals), are judged by an independent panel of respected property experts, including members of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and UK based national property journalists. They have rapidly become the benchmark for the finest in international real estate and new properties around the world.
Chairman of the Pezula Group, Keith Stewart, said that this year's awards had been expanded to acknowledge the truly global nature of the overseas property market and included 30 destinations.
"What sets these awards apart from others in the industry is that the judges assess the shortlisted properties first-hand and judge each one on its own merits, said Stewart.
